Lasius nigerrima (Christ 1791) Formica nigerrima Christ 1791 The description reports nothing but body length, color and occurrence in gardens and could refer to either a Lasius s.str. or a Tapinoma species. Chist‘s paper considers ants on a worldwide scale but he gave no collecting locality for Formica nigerrima. Supposing that he meant a German garden, there is some likelihood for a synonymy with Lasius niger.
