Analysis of the main drivers behind the development of hydrogen standalone areas in the context of The Netherlands, and how their emergence may contribute to decarbonisation, congestion mitigation, and the provision of affordable and reliable energy to local clusters of both hydrogen production (i.e., local electrolysis) as well as end users that are difficult to connect to the Dutch Hydrogen Backbone.
