Abstract

Borago officinalis L. Artbeschreibung: 20-70 cm hoch, stechend steifhaarig. Stängel fleischig. Blätter lanzettlich, mit gewelltem, unregelmässig gezähntem Rand, plötzlich in einen geflügelten Stiel verschmälert, die unteren bis 10 cm lang. Blütenstand oft weit ausladend doldenartig. Krone himmelblau, seltener lila, mit kurzer Röhre und 5 flach ausgebreiteten, fein zugespitzten Zipfeln, Durchmesser 2-3 cm, Schlundschuppen vorstehend, weiss. Kelchzipfel schmal-lanzettlich, ca. 1,5 cm lang. Blütezeit: 5-8 Standort und Verbreitung in der Schweiz: Weinberge, Schuttplätze, Buntbrachen, kultiviert und gelegentlich verwildert / kollin-montan / Verbreitung global: Ursprünglich mediterran-westasiatisch Ökologische Zeigerwerte nach Landolt & al.
