Abstract

Alnus viridis (Chaix) DC. Artbeschreibung: Bis etwa 3 m hoher Strauch mit glatter, graubrauner Rinde. Blätter eiförmig, spitz, (2-) 4-8 cm lang, doppelt gezähnt, beiderseits grün, unterseits auf den Nerven kurzhaarig, mit 5-7(-9) Paaren von Seitennerven. Männliche Blütenstände als geschlossene Kätzchen überwinternd, beim Laubaustrieb aufblühend, hängend. Weibliche Blütenstände an diesjährigen Zweigen, im Winter von Knospenschuppen umgeben. Blütezeit: 4-6(-7) Standort und Verbreitung in der Schweiz: Steinige, felsige Hänge und Runsen, bis über die Waldgrenze Bestände bildend / (kollin-)montan-subalpin(-alpin) / A, höhere Teile des M, vereinzelt J Verbreitung global: Mittel- und südosteuropäisch Ökologische Zeigerwerte nach Landolt & al.
