Artbeschreibung: Ähnlich wie H. sabaudum, aber Blätter im untersten Stängeldrittel dicht gehäuft, gross, darüber nur noch wenige kleine Blättchen, Hülle 10-15 mm lang, +/- drüsig behaart, Früchte hell- bis dunkelbraun, 4-4,5 mm lang (bei H. sabaudum dunkelbraun bis schwarz, 2,5-3 mm lang). Grubenränder des Fruchtbodens kurz gezähnt.
