Abstract: It is important to study the barriers that inhibit the access to sports practices in young people and even more if they have any disability. Therefore, this study, with a sample of 122 young people with disabilities who have previously shown their inability to perform in any sports practice, deepens in analyzing what these barriers are and what elements of daily life can determine them, affecting the different perpectives of young people depending on their gender. The results show that it is women who give more importance to the elements raised and their perception of leisure in general.
