
Stelletta validissima f. validissima Thiele, 1898 Stelletta validissima f. validissima Thiele, 1898: 13, pl. I fig. 5, pl. 7 fig. 1; Koltun 1966: 44, textfig. 19, pl. VI). Koltun erected this forma for Thiele’s S. validissima described from Yogashima, Japan, approximate coordinates 35.13°N 139.61°E, no depth provided (holotype ZMB 7009). His own material originated from the Japanese Sea near Hokkaido. In view of the inconvincing differences of the specimens of both formas provided by Koltun and the unavailable name, they are proposed above to be merged in a single species Stelletta validissima Thiele, 1898.
