THE MAKER MOVEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE FEDERAL NETWORK OF TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION

Abstract

This article highlights singularities of maker culture and comprehensive professional training, in the context of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education, through qualitative research, with a review of theoretical-conceptual and documentary sources. The investigation demonstrates the points of confluence between the training processes, in the humanist context, in divergence from the experience based on the division of classes and teaching in the purely technical training format. The study proposes to build training, faced with the challenges of the contemporary world, where merely technical training does not meet the desires of the world of work, as it requires the student to have a series of social skills that the school still finds barriers to offering. In this way, promoting the training of teachers and students in collaborative and technological educational cultures is the basis for building an emancipatory training, which meets the desires of the globalized world of work
