
Supply chain globalisation makes its controlling, managing and quality assurance much more difficult and complex. To tackle these problems, Blockchain technology, as a scattered ledger technology which ensures transparency, traceability and security. This essay offers a critical analysis of blockchain technology, its implementation using Ethereum, and the creation and use of Solidity-language smart contracts.
