Sacramental bread bag is one of the liturgical vessels that is used to store and carry Holy Communion to the sick. It is usually rectangular and is used by priests, deacons, ministers and acolytes. During use, it was hung on the chest so that it could be seen by people passing by. Probably the sacramental bread bag, which comes from the treasury of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Miechów, has been used many times, as evidenced by its state of preservation. The illustration on the front of the bag shows the adoration of the baby Jesus ID no.: MZM/DS/92 Time of creation: 17th–18th century The Museum of Ziemia Miechowska in Miechów https://muzea.malopolska.pl/en/objects-list/2974 Digitalisation: RDW MIC, Małopolska museum visits project.
