Abstract

In this article, we explore the multidimensional impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on music education, within a context of rapid technological transformations. The investigation stems from my ongoing master's research in the Music department of UnB and adopts an essayistic approach, focusing on crucial ethical issues, such as privacy and security, that arise from the symbiosis between AI and music education. The use of AI presents ethical challenges, including the misuse of personal information for power accumulation (Zuboff, 2019). We employ a methodology that combines literature review, critical reflection, and practical analysis, aiming to ponder how AI can integrate and enhance existing practices in music education, emphasizing the essential collaboration between educators, musicians, technologists, and specialists to address challenges and amplify the benefits of integrating this digital information and communication technology (DICT) into music education.
