Efeitos psicofisiológicos da música: uma leitura transdisciplinar

Abstract

Esta pesquisa de mestrado, em andamento, tem como objetivo geral investigar os efeitos psicofisiológicos da música no ser humano. Trata-se de pesquisa teórico-bibliográfica transdisciplinar, pois integra fundamentação teórica de vários campos do conhecimento: música, educação musical, musicoterapia, neurociências, psicologia e arqueologia cognitiva. A busca está sendo realizada nos portais Capes, PubMed, ResearchGate e periódicos nacionais e internacionais. O objetivo deste presente texto é apresentar parte da revisão de literatura realizada, até o momento, buscando identificar e categorizar os efeitos psicofisiológicos da música. Foram identificadas as seguintes categorias: Música, emoção e expressão; Música, ritmo e movimento; Música e fisiologia; Música e cognição. Os resultados preliminares evidenciam que a música pode ser um agente estimulador e modificador das emoções, das memórias, dos movimentos e dos significados subjetivos que proporciona a cada indivíduo.

The general aim of this ongoing master's research is to investigate the psychophysiological effects of music on human beings. It is transdisciplinary theoretical-bibliographical research, as it integrates theoretical foundations from various fields of knowledge: music, music education, music therapy, neurosciences, psychology and cognitive archaeology. The search is being carried out on the Capes, PubMed and ResearchGate portals and in national and international journals. The aim of this text is to present part of the literature review carried out so far, seeking to identify and categorize the psychophysiological effects of music. The following categories were identified: Music, emotion and expression; Music, rhythm and movement; Music and physiology; Music and cognition. The preliminary results show that music can be a stimulating and modifying agent for emotions, memories, movements, and the subjective meanings it provides for each individual.
