Abstract

El Monasterio o Al-Dayr es uno de los monumentos más grandes de la ciudad de Petra, mide 47 metros de ancho por 48.3 de alto. Fue construido con Khazna (El Tesoro de Petra) como modelo pero en este caso los bajo relieves fueron sustituidos por espacios para albergar esculturas.
