A Minetechnik Gépipari Kft új szerkezeti kialakítású felvevődobogós repülőgépvontató prototípusfejlesztése az Irinyi Iparstratégiai Programban

Abstract

In the framework of the project NGM_SZERZ/91/2018, funded by the industrial strategic allocation of the Irinyi Plan, entitled "Development of a new towing technology procedure that helps the safe transfer of aircrafts on the airports at Minetechnik Ltd.", the MT380, with recording platform, electric all-wheel drive and steering, was carried out in the framework of ©MINETECHNIK Kft. 2700 Cegléd, Külső-Kátai út 35. the project for the development of a prototype of an unmanned airport train by Hungarian Minetechnik Ltd. The task of the Hungarian company was designing, testing of the prototype including complex frame structure (without drive chain and control, which is installed by the German partner) and solving manufacturing (scale up) problems related to technology and the selection, procurement, installation, commissioning of the machines and equipment necessary for its operation. The scope of this paper to introduce in the business case study form the Minetechnik Machinery Ltd. and the evolution story of its development project, the solutions of the emerging challenges during the implementation phase together with main lessons learnt from it as well as the prototype of the pickup podium structure with a new structural design solution developed, tested and manufactured as a result of the project, which is one of the main component for the towbarless airport tugs that hydraulically raises the nose wheels of airplanes. Due to the novelty design solution for the pickup podium part, the company has also submitted a utility sample protection request (HAMI) to Hungarian Intellectual Property Office. The added value of the development is the inclination angle and greater load capacity of the wheel connection surface of the receiver platform due to the unique structural design, as well as the ability to move any aircraft in an environmentally friendly manner, regardless of type and size. The towbarless airport tugs equipped with this unique structural designed pickup podium will face significant international market opportunities, strengthening the long-term, mutually beneficial strategic business partnership between Minetechnik Ltd. and Treppel Airport GmbH at the same time. This business case study can serve as a good practice for domestic SME's in terms of entering foreign markets with "boxed products and know-how solutions" created as a result of their own development, as well as becoming a regional supplier and production centre. Keywords: green taxiing, new structure of the pickup podium, towbarless tractor, utility sample, international networking.
