This Excel sheet contains raw data from the paper entitled “Mapping of Global Scientific Research in Comorbidity and Multimorbidity: A Cross-Sectional Analysis”, published in the journal Plos One in 2017. These data come from a set of 85994 papers on comorbidity and multimorbidity extracted from Web of Science Core Collection database during the period 1970-2016. The table includes raw data of authors that published the articles (n =299709), journals (n = 3500), countries (n = 168), subject categories (n = 161) and key words (n = 7147). It should be noted that a complex process of standardization was conducted from these data to unify different spelling of the same author, terms and grammatical variants and to remove typographical, transcription, and/or indexing errors.
