The European Food Sharing Dictionary is a tool that aims to improve awareness and understanding of the language of food sharing within and between different urban and peri-urban (UPU) areas using a common set of terms and multilingual translations. This tool will be of interest to citizens, UPU area governments, Food Sharing Initiatives (FSIs), researchers and food supply actors. It provides the baseline for manual mapping of FSIs in CULTIVATE's Hub cities as well as the terms for the automated searching experimentation phase in WP2. The dictionary includes 43 English language terms relating to food sharing, that have been translated into 24 non-English European languages. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s)only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union, REA or UKRI. Neither the EuropeanUnion nor the granting authorities can be held responsible for them.
