
The aim of this research is to discuss the importance of Pancasila education in forming character and morals in educational institutions. The research uses a literature study method where the review is carried out descriptively with supporting material obtained from various literature and the discussion focuses on research topics related to Pancasila education. The data was analyzed reductively which describes the results of the discussion that Pancasila education plays a very important role in shaping the character and morals of students in Indonesia which should be implemented from elementary school level. Pancasila is the basis of the Indonesian state and ideology, in this arena we must be able to realize the values of Pancasila in our behavior to create unity and harmony for every citizen amidst diversity. Pancasila education is not limited to understanding theories, but also about implementing them in daily life practice as a long-term investment in the formation of a young generation who have moral character values and superior character as a nation and state.
