In the assessment of university programs, the evaluations provided by graduates regarding the education they received are gaining increasing significance. Recently, a methodology was developed at the Institute of Pharmacy and Food for such purposes. Objective: to evaluate the impact of the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Food Sciences programs on samples of recent graduates. Method: the designed methodology was partially implemented on representative samples of graduates between 2018 and 2021, both in face-to-face and blended learning modes. Various indicators were compared among cohorts, modes of study, and programs. Results: overall, the impacts were high, with a tendency towards deterioration in cohorts affected by COVID-19, particularly in the Pharmaceutical Sciences program. The poorest results were related to the development of practical skills. Graduates exhibited a strong interest in their professional development but expressed some dissatisfaction with the development of specific competencies. Conclusion: the education received was better recognized in the full-time program of Food Sciences, and in the part-time program of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Gaps were identified in certain indicators, necessitating immediate improvement measures in both programs to reverse the effects of the pandemic on the teaching process and refine the curricula in the medium term.
