In 2023, for the second time, the Digital Skills Austria survey addressed the question of the extent to which Austrians are capable of orienting themselves in the digital space, finding their way around and shaping it themselves. Whereas the first survey in 2022 not only measured digital skills but also knowledge about processes in the digital space, the focus in 2023 was on the influence of formal education and further training, and the participants' problem-solving competencies in the digital space were surveyed. The following document provides insights into the methodology of the Digital Skills Study 2023, the central themes, and a short overview of selected outcomes in English.
