Trilepida brasiliensis (Laurent, 1949) Type locality. Barreiras, state of Bahia, Brazil. Distribution. Endemic to Brazil (Plt. 18A). Widespread in the Cerrado and its contact with the Caatinga and Pantanal (Plt. 18A), mostly at intermediate to high elevations (Plt. 18B). Observed in the field in savannas and open areas (Borges-Nojosa et al., 2009; Dal Vechio et al., 2013).
