Epictia collaris Hoogmoed, 1977 Type locality. Base Camp Nassau Mountains, district Marowijne, Suriname. Distribution. Known from Brazil, French Guiana, and Suriname on the Guiana Shield (Plt. 11A). In Brazil, known from a single locality in northernmost Amazonia (Plt. 11A) at low elevations (Plt. 11B). Observed in the field in primary forest (Hoogmoed, 1977).
