Ergänzungen und Korrekturen zum Katalog der Gefäßpflanzen Südtirols (11)

Abstract

The catalogue of the vascular plants of South Tyrol: additions and corrections (11) The ongoing floristic mapping and the constant revision of herbarium specimens result in an increase of new – mainly, but not only, allochthonous – taxa in the flora of South Tyrol, but also make adjustments or corrections of previously published data necessary. In the 11th edition of this series the newly discovered native taxa Carex digitata subsp. pallens and Primula integrifolia are presented, as well as Poa humilis with uncertain indigenous status. With regard to allochthonous taxa – among them garden escapes and taxa introduced by different pathways – the following can be added to the flora of South Tyrol, some of which are already considered to be established: Allium neapolitanum, Arbutus unedo, Astilbe ×rosea, Berberis julianae, Bromus riparius, Brunnera macrophylla, Cardamine occulta, Chimonanthus praecox, Cistus eriocephalus, Cotoneaster acutifolius, Datura innoxia, D. wrightii, Dianthus giganteus, Diospyros lotus, Eriobotrya japonica, Euphorbia epithymoides, Gleditsia triacanthos, Glyceria grandis, Guizotia abyssinica, Leucanthemella serotina, Mimulus ringens, Noccaea praecox, Oenothera oehlkersii, Phlox paniculata, Pinus wallichiana, Stachys byzantina, Trifolium resupinatum (s.str.), Tulipa gesneriana. The following native or archeophytic species could be either reconfirmed or definitely confirmed for the flora of South Tyrol: Arabis auriculata, Asparagus tenuifolius, Bolboschoenus laticarpus, Hieracium zizianum, Ophrys apifera, Ornithogalum divergens, Scandix pecten-veneris, Sorbus aucuparia subsp. glabrata. The same holds for the non-native species Bupleurum gerardi and Poncirus trifoliata. In the case of Legousia hybrida, the previously doubted historical presence could be verified. Important new distribution data and a new status assessment, respectively, are given for the following species: Bromus diandrus, Carex pseudocyperus, Crepis pulchra, Festuca stenantha, Festuca supina, Festuca trichophylla, Poa glauca, Poa remota, Ranunculus peltatus, and Verbascum crassifolium.
