RPS Ocean Science is working with IOOS to improve access to oceanographic model data in the cloud. As more ocean modeling data is operationally available on the cloud, traditional strategies for serving and distributing this data to consumers have become inefficient. RPS is using Zarr, Kerchunk, and Xpublish to build new efficient workflows for consumers to ingest, analyze, and visualize oceanographic model data.
