Abstract

On the identity of Coelioxys coturnix Pérez 1884 (Hymenoptera - Megachilidae). - Coelioxys coturnix Pérez 1884 is an uncommon species whose male identification remains uncertain or difficult with available publications. A study of the material contained in the MNHN collections and material lent by M. Schwarz permitted us to confirm some of the Pérez and Dusmet’s described diagnostic features and to find new ones. Those morphological features are illustrated and included in a key to make easier the distinction between C. coturnix and close species.
