Abstract

Die in den Jahren 1967/68 vorgenommenen Grabungen im Gebiet des sog. Scheuerhof-Areals boten Gelegenheit, die kaum erforschte SO-Ecke des Legionslagers zu untersuchen. Über die Verhältnisse am Südwall und die Ausdehnung der frühen Holzbauten gegen Süden lieferten die Grabungen am Wallweg 1979 neue Ergebnisse. Von wichtiger Bedeutung waren sodann die 1980 vorgenommenen Untersuchungen westlich und südlich des abgebrochenen Hauses Koprio, die Hinweise für die Datierung des sog. Apsidenbaus lieferten.
