This Capacity Development Resource Kit presents both the training requirements as defined by the IGAD community and available resources from the aforementioned groups: The Capacity Development for Agriculture Data Working Group conducted a survey to find out more about the training needs that would support the adaption of the working group recommendations. The survey results are presented in this document. This document also includes an overview about available and free training resources in the area of agricultural data management. A detailed description is provided for resources that are in some way related to RDA, like the Open Data Management in Agriculture and Nutrition Course that was developed in Godan Action, a Spanish online course on data management developed by IGAD and FAO, the Farm Data Management Sharing and Services for Agriculture Development Course, the CODATA-RDA Schools of Research Data Science and resources created by the Geospatial IG. Other free resources that are available online are listed as well.
