Descriptions of a new species of genus Angarotipula and life history of Angarotipula laetipennis (Alexander, 1935) (Diptera, Tipulidae)

Abstract

Angarotipula is a small genus of Tipulidae with only fourteen described species in the world and seven known species in China. Here, one new species is added to the fauna of Sichuan. The life history of Angarotipula laetipennis (Alexander, 1935) is presented and the morphologies of all stages are described.
