Abstract The coelom-dwelling monogenean Dietyoeotyle coeliaea is recorded from the body cavity of Raja radiata caught near Bergen; this is only the second Norwegian record. Further records are noted from R. lintea from Skagerrak and from Raja sp. taken in the North Sea. A brief history of the species is given and its distribution patterns are discussed.
