Abstract

A chiral multidentate ligand system produced by cis-{MoO2}2+ assisted Mannich-type nucleophilic addition of an acetylacetonate central CH– across the polarized azomethine of a tridentate Schiff base system and the racemic cis-{MoO2}2+ complexes formed from it are described.
