Coulomb excitation experiments have confirmed the existence of excited states in Fe/sup 57/ at 14, 137, and 365 kev. Gamma rays of energies 123, 228, and 350 kev were observed and their multipolarities determined. A level scheme incorporating these radiations with earlier information is proposed: ground state, 1/2/sup -/; 14-kev state, 3/2/sup -/; 137-kev state, 5/2/sup -/; and 365- kev state, 5/2/sup -/. The reduced upward transition probabilities epsilon B(E2) in units of e/sub 2/ x 10/sup -48/ cm/sup 4/, for the two states excited are: 137-kev level, 0.050; 365-kev level, 0.033. (auth)
