Abstract

L’objet de ce texte est de proposer un cadre d’analyse des raisonnements d’élèves dans la résolution de problèmes de partage inéquitable pouvant être utilisés au primaire et au début du secondaire. Ce cadre repose sur la considération des deux dimensions suivantes : 1) le degré d’analycité du raisonnement et 2) la nature du registre de représentation sémiotique (Duval, 1995) des inconnues et des équations. Les fondements épistémologiques de ce cadre d’analyse s’appuient sur une brève analyse de certaines étapes du développement historique de l’algèbre. Ensuite, les différentes catégories de raisonnement sont illustrées au moyen d’exemples prototypiques issus de productions d’élèves.
