This is a presentation designed for (but not limited to) the PhD students recruted under a European project and who are subjected to write a DMP (Data Management Plan) for the project on which they are involved. Following topics are also rapidly introduced before delving into the contents of a DMP: Horror stories and management issues of research data Definition of data and research data Open data and FAIR data And finally some useful resources While it is the first version, it will be updated very often.
