The X-ROTOR project is developing an innovative turbine design for off-shore wind deployment, with the aim of reducing both costs and installation times, and in so doing contributing to an increase in off-shore deployment. This report uses data collected through the project’s continuing engagement with industry stakeholders to identify and rank attributes important for potential purchasing decisions in which these stakeholders may have input. The attributes identified from the collected stakeholder data are compared with the features of the X-ROTOR derived from an analysis of the foundational overview text, which first described the concept. In this way the report assesses the extent to which the developing X-ROTOR design addresses those attributes which the industry stakeholders have deemed important to them.
