A relative symplectic subquadrangle hemisystem of the generalized quadrangle \(H(3,q^2),\) \(q\) even, is a family \(\mathcal E\) of symplectic subquadranlges disjoint from a fixed symplectic subquadrangle \(T\) such that any point of \(H(3,q^2)\) not in \(T\) lies in \(m=\frac{|{\mathcal E}|}{2}\) subquadrangles of \(\mathcal E\). The authors construct a class of relative symplectic subquadrangle hemisystems admitting the group \(\mathrm{PSp}(4,q)\) and another class admitting the group \(\mathrm{P}\Omega^-(4,q)\).

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
