This software represents a working copy of the code developed for the automatic segmentation of seven anatomic thalamic subparts exploring MRI diffusion-based properties, according to the method published in Brain Structure and Function in 2017 entitled as "Robust thalamic nuclei segmentation method based on local diffusion magnetic resonance properties" by G. Battistella, E. Najdenovska, P. Maeder, N. Ghazaleh, A. Daducci, J.-P. Thiran, S. Jacquemont, C. Tuleasca, M. Levivier, M. Bach Cuadra and E. Fornari. Moreover we provide a testing dataset of five healthy subjects. Please read the README.txt file for detailed information.
This work is also supported by interdisciplinary fund (2016) of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the Lausanne University.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
