
The dataset consists of 1) Classical Arabic lexical units used in reference to revenge-related concepts and 2) contexts of the use of the selected lexical units in Early Arabic Poetry. The dataset consist of four types of data: sub-corpus of Early Arabic Poetry derived from OpenITI corpus [http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4075046] (EAP_OpenITI.rar) metadata for the corpus with identification of the original files derieved from OpenITI (OpenITI_subcorpus.xlsx) list of Classical Arabic lexical units evoking Revenge-like frame, derived from Classical Arabic lexicons (LU_selection.docx) collection of sentences extracted from the corpus that contain the lexical units (Corpus_data.docx) In 2) and 3), Arabic is at times rendered in latinized transcription.
