Isonychus striolatus Frey, 1970 Isonychus striolatus Frey 1970: 141 (Mt Roraimo [= Mt Roraima Brazil? (NA) / = Mt Roraima Venezuela? (EO) / = Mt Roraima Guyana?]) Distribution. Brazil: Evans and Smith 2009: 246. Other: Frey 1970: 141 (see note). Note. Frey (1970: 141) gives as the type locality of Isonychus striolatus only Mt. Roraima, which is the tristate border point of Guyana, Brazil and Venezuela. Evans and Smith (2009: 246) place the location in Brazil. However, only about five percent of Mt. Roraima is within Brazil, while about 10 and 85 percent is within the territories of, respectively, Guyana and Venezuela. The actual type locality may be in either one of those countries and might be revealed by studying the diaries of the expedition on which the type specimens were found.
