Abstract

FLORUS is a steadily growing compilation of miscellaneous records mobilised from various sources on the Russian flora (releves, literature, specimens, online resources, etc.). The aim of the dataset is to enable access to those FLORUS data which are not currently indexed in GBIF. Clustered records from overlapping datasets will be consequently excluded. The dataset covers distributional data on vascular plants from all subjects of the Russian Federation with greatest strength on (77) the City of Moscow, (50) Moscow Oblast, (38) Irkutsk Oblast, (32) Bryansk Oblast, (82) Republic of Crimea, (66) Sverdlovsk Oblast, (13) Republic of Mordovia, (46) Kursk Oblast, (54) Novosibirsk Oblast, (52) Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, (92) the City of Sevastopol, (74) Chelyabinsk Oblast, (71) Tula Oblast, (22) Altaisky Krai, (36) Voronezh Oblast, (16) Republic of Tatarstan, (33) Vladimir Oblast, (55) Omsk Oblast, (76) Yaroslavl Oblast, (41) Kamchatka Krai, (02) Bashkortostan, (21) Chuvash Republic, (23) Krasnodar Krai, (39) Kaliningrad Oblast, (86) Khanty Mansi Autonomous Okrug, (69) Tver Oblast, (44) Kostroma Oblast.
