The Ginkakuzi-san National Forest is located in Kyoto City, Japan. The forest is mainly covered with broadleaved trees such as Quercus glauca although part of the forest was converted to conifer plantations. Quadrat censuses were conducted in the forest from 1992 to 2014, and 96 woody species were found in total.
