Ship Trajectory is a web core application used for visualizing the ship trajectories in the Danish part of the Northern Sea. The ship movements data are retrieved in the AIS format and stored in a PostgreSQL database. PostGIS and MobilityDB extensions were used to enable storing a spatio-temporal data and to process the spatio-temporal queries. The server side of the app was developed in ASP.NET Core environment, while HTML, Razor, CSS and JavaScript were used to build the user interface. A JavaScript library, Leaflet, was helpful for displaying the spatio-temporal data. In this paper, all the mentioned technologies are explained, as well as the architecture, the implementation and the usage of the application.
