The ASH - Art, Science & Health – MA programme is envisaged as a two-year international graduate programme which aims to explore, re-imagine, and define the contribution of contemporary art in social wellness. The program will be designed by three participating universities and one non-governmental organization: University of Zagreb, Croatia, leading the consortium as a main beneficiary, representing The Academy of Fine Arts; Ionian University, Greece, representing the Department of Audio and Visual Arts; Singidunum University, Serbia, representing Faculty of Media and Communication; and KONTEJNER | bureau of contemporary art praxis, a non-governmental organization from Croatia. The main goal of the project is to set up a socially and globally relevant high-quality MA programme in contemporary arts based in practice and theory on transdisciplinarity and cross-sectoral cooperation, at the intersection of art, science and health. The project structure will follow the predefined joint mechanisms of the EMDM call on two levels. Firstly, the organizations included in the consortium will aim to design the joint standards regarding the administrative and technical requirements needed to be implement by three participating universities. Furthermore, the organizations will work to develop joint student standards, requirements, and learning outcomes as well. Secondly, the goal will be to design ASH programme curriculum, including the programme structure, methodology, content, and courses. This will be done through regular working sessions of people included in the project team, organized both in person and online. The initial content will be tested through a pilot course organized in each participating country which will be used to gain a necessary feedback on the quality of the draft programme. By the end of the funding period, the organizations will start the process of self-evaluation as a prerequisite for programme to be recognized and acknowledged on the European scale.
