[True hermaphroditism and double fertilization].

Two cases of true hermaphroditism are presented. Sex differentiation mechanism, X functions in skin development and pigmentation are studied. Lateral gender assignment in hermaphroditism and mythologic concept right side = maleness and left side = femininity are compared.
