Abstract

La celebración de las X Jornadas de Educación Emocional de la UB (Universidad de Barcelona) ha sido una buena ocasión para iniciar un Congreso con el objetivo de profundizar y difundir los conocimientos sobre la finalidad de la educación emocional, que es contribuir al bienestar personal y social. El I Congreso Internacional de Educación Emocional. Psicología Positiva y Bienestar ha sido el resultado de un trabajo continuado por parte del Instituto de Ciencias de la Educación (ICE) y del Grupo de Investigación en Orientación Psicopedagógica (GROP), ambos de la UB. La finalidad de la educación emocional es el bienestar. Hay diversos tipos de bienestar (material, físico, social, profesional, emocional, subjetivo), uno de ellos es precisamente el bienestar emocional, que tiene mucha relación con la experiencia de emociones positivas. La educación emocional es anterior al surgimiento de la psicología positiva, pero desde un marco integrador, ha ido incorporando sus aportaciones sobre el bienestar. El documento que se presenta es la compilación de comunicaciones y posters presentados en el Congreso. Una suma de trabajos científicos y de buenas prácticas que nos hacen pensar en el alto desarrollo de la Educación Emocional en nuestra sociedad. Sería falso decir que este escrito recoge la riqueza de las aportaciones que se generaron en el Congreso. Es difícil poder agrupar la generosidad de reflexiones de más de 300 personas que asistieron al congreso, los contenidos de las diferentes ponencias, talleres, mesa redonda, coloquios, etc. La riqueza de un Congreso Científico reside en todas y cada una de las aportaciones y vivencias de todos los asistentes...
