This paper describes the osseous assemblage recovered from the Aurignacian levels at El Castillo Cave. Diverse typologies of bone tools as well as elements of mobiliar art are among the recovered items. The bone industry of El Castillo Cave confirms that the exploitation of the hard animal raw materials is already defined since the initial stages of the Aurignacian. Several items of the sample are considered among the most representative tools of the early stages of the Upper Palaeolithic and will follow through all this chronological sequence.
