Abstract

No existe una imagen más representativa del ideal de naturaleza que el que podemos encontrar en una postal. Una playa virgen con palmeras, unas cataratas en todo su esplendor, una montaña que nos permite vislumbrar horizontes infinitos. Una naturaleza idílica, virgen, intocada. La imagen de la autenticidad, solo estropeada por la tipografía del nombre del lugar sobreimpreso en ella, o acaso también empañada por la misma realidad que nos encontramos cuando acudimos al lugar de la imagen, esperando se corresponda a la imagen de la postal. Una imagen, la de la postal, que es tan representativa del ideal natural, como de la realidad contemporánea: la naturaleza imaginada, relegada al terreno de la imagen, significante sin significado, copia sin referente.
