Abstract

[ca] En els darrers anys, el desenvolupament de la realitat virtual ha incrementat la seva accessibilitat i ha proporcionat experiències més immersives als usuaris en diferents àmbits, com ara la medicina, l’educació i el turisme. La realitat virtual està demostrant el seu valor pràctic a diversos sectors, oferint solucions innovadores i millorant les pràctiques existents. Sota aquest context, l’objectiu del treball ha estat observar i comprendre les aplicacions pràctiques de la tecnologia de realitat virtual, aixı́ com crear un entorn de realitat virtual no immersiu, realista i interactiu que serveixi d’exemple o model per a desenvolupaments futurs. Els resultats obtinguts en aquest projecte reflecteixen diversos aspectes, com ara la viabilitat de desenvolupar un entorn virtual interactiu d’alta qualitat utilitzant eines de realitat virtual com Unreal Engine. A més, mitjançant aquest projecte, es van adquirir habilitats tècniques significatives i es va aconseguir una comprensió més profunda de les capacitats de la realitat virtual per crear experiències interactives. Aquests èxits no només subratllen el potencial de la realitat virtual en l’àmbit del disseny d’interiors, sinó que també estableixen una base aplicable que altres desenvolupadors puguin fer servir per facilitar la creació de projectes similars. [en] The use of virtual reality (VR) technology has been one of the most relevant trends in recent years, significantly impacting various fields such as medicine, education, and tourism. This project aims to explore the practical value of virtual reality technology in the context of interior design through the development of an interactive virtual environment. The primary objective was to observe and understand the practical applications of virtual reality by creating a realistic and interactive non-immersive environment. The project sought to illustrate how virtual reality can be utilized in interior design and to provide a modest example that could inspire future developments in similar fields. Results from the development process highlight the efficiency and feasibility of using virtual reality tools like Unreal Engine, showcasing the detailed realism achievable within a reasonable development timeframe. Through this project, substantial technical skills were acquired, and a deeper understanding of virtual reality capabilities in creating interactive experiences was achieved. Additionally, this work serves as a basic model that others can build upon to develop their own virtual reality projects.
