Decadencia

Authors: Robledo Gallego, Lia;
Abstract

[eng] Decadencia is a project that aims to bring visibility to the concept of the seven deadly sins from an artistic, contemporary, and secular perspective through a series of photographic selfportraits. The objective is to explore and represent each sin individually, delving into its meaning and relevance in contemporary society. Through a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the design and production of all elements as well as photography, the project seeks to create impactful representations that blend moral tradition with modern reality. The research and conceptualization of each sin, along with the artistic direction and production design, culminate in the creation of meaningful images that invite reflection on human nature and its weaknesses. This non-religious approach aims to generate a universal and accessible vision of human vices in contemporary society.
