[eng] Osona is a region with a long tradition in Archaeological research. In this article we think about the long evolution of this science in the region during the last 50 years. The background is underlined, and also the special role played by the Patronat d'Estudis Osonencs and Ausa review, and the later professionalization of these activities. All of this takes us to try to understand how the present situation is, and which are the ways to the future.

[cat] L'arqueologia a Osona té ja una llarga trajectòria. En aquest article es reflexiona sobre l'evolució d'aquesta disciplina a casa nostra en els darrers cinquanta anys. Se'n destaquen els precedents, l'important paper que hi van representar el Patronat d'Estudis Osonencs i la revista Ausa, i la més recent professionalització d'aquesta activitat. S'intenta entendre com s'ha arribat a la situació actual, i quines són les perspectives de futur.
