Lors des fouilles menées à Mahtoutabad (près de Konar Sandal, Jiroft, Iran), plusieurs débris de vases en chlorite ont été découverts parmi les tombes pillées du 3ème millénaire av. J.-C. Il s’agit du premier contexte archéologique vérifié associant avec certitude ces importants vestiges à la vallée du Halil Rud.
