Abstract

Nunha sociedade onde as rutinas sempre se apresuran e o desenvolvemento, a tecnoloxía e o traballo son o centro das experiencias humanas, a calma, o lecer e o xogo adoitan facerse imposibles. Se antes era doado para un neno crear momentos de lecer e aventuras na rúa, cos amigos, camiño da escola, hoxe este tipo de actividades parecen ser doutro mundo. Mentres os protexemos para que poidan acadar un futuro que participe e actúe na sociedade, reducimos a súa liberdade, independencia, mobilidade e tamén o seu potencial. Os nenos teñen unha verdadeira paixón pola natureza, queren a rúa, a herba, o sol, a area, as pozas de barro. Non corresponde aos adultos quitarlles todas estas posibilidades, por medos que moitas veces lles pertencen.Neste sentido, este estudo busca comprender a percepción dos adultos sobre as contribucións do xogo libre na natureza ao desenvolvemento dos nenos e ao proceso de construción do suxeito como cidadán global.A análise céntrase en presentar a perspectiva de pais e profesores sobre o xogo libre na natureza e as súas contribucións á formación e desenvolvemento dos nenos.Este estudo realizouse na comarca de Leiria, na costa central de Portugal, cunha mostra de 39 pais e 16 profesores, e está clasificado como unha investigación cualitativa, sendo a entrevista semiestruturada o principal instrumento de recollida de datos.O estudo conclúe que pais e profesores identifican o xogo libre na natureza como unha forma de achegar os nenos ao seu eu natural, espertando así a conciencia ambiental e a sensibilidade para percibir e modificar os impactos das accións humanas sobre a natureza.
